On 11 March 2012 the 528th Pennsylvania Army National Guard Unit was lead in a Physical Training session by Sergeant Chad Stauffer who is also a local Mmaxout instructor.

After leading the unit through a Mmaxout Interval workout multiple soldiers commented on how effective the workout was in a short amount of time. One soldier said it was the first time they had ever enjoyed a physical training session in the Army. The remarks also continued the next day when soldiers woke up still feeling the workout from the prior day.
